  • Despite this escalation, the UK's Foreign Office (FCDO) has not changed its new advice for travel to the United Arab Emirates.
  • The FCDO lifted its "all but essential travel" advisory for the UAE on 18 June, meaning travel insurance is likely valid for trips to the region.
  • Commercial flights to the UK from the UAE have resumed, and package holidays are expected to operate as usual.
  • The FCDO continues to warn that “the situation remains unpredictable and attacks could resume at short notice”.
