It comes a few days after her husband Prince Charles also tested positive for the virus on Thursday morning which forced him to cancel a visit to Winchester.

Last week, both the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles met with Chancellor RIshi Sunak and others at a reception in the British Museum.

It was confirmed by a royal source that the Prince of Wales met the Queen two days before testing positive for Covid-19.

Buckingham Palace has not yet confirmed whether the Queen has tested positive for the virus.

Under current Covid rules, Camilla must self-isolate for 10 full days which could be shortened if she tests negative on day five and day six consecutively.
