Cam Reddish signs with Octagon Basketball over Klutch Sports

It seemed inevitable that Duke University’s Cam Reddish would be joining LeBron James as a member of Rich Paul’s agency, Klutch Sports. Back in August of 2017, James and Paul were spotted coming out of a coffee shop in Los Angeles with Reddish according to CBS Sports. At the time, Cam was a five-star member of the class of 2018.

More recently, on April 7, ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported that Reddish was seen sitting courtside at Staples Center with Paul during the Lakers-Jazz game. But after announcing his intentions to enter the NBA Draft on his official Instagram account, it appears Reddish will be going in another direction with his representation. According to a tweet from their verified Twitter account, Reddish will be joining Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo by signing with Octagon Basketball.

While there has been no official confirmation from Reddish to this point, the news comes as a bit of surprise based on his history with James, Paul and Klutch. According to most mock drafts, Reddish is projected to be a top-10 pick this summer. He averaged 13.5 points and hit 33 percent of his 3-pointers for Duke during a season that ended in the Elite 8. Based on his length and athleticism, Reddish projects to be a more productive pro than he was playing alongside R.J. Barrett and Zion Williamson in college.
