Calvin Harris tells fans he plans to drop new summer anthem

Calvin Harris has teased fans with the promise he will deliver another summer anthem.

The Scots hitmaker who has been keeping fit and healthy with green juices and mountain climbing during lockdown, announced that the wait is over.

I'm Not Alone music maker Calvin has been working with a graphic artist on creating Non Fugible Tokens or NFTs as they are known in short.

NFT's can mean photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files that are sold to online collectors and Lewis Capaldi has just launched his own digital collectors cards.

Calvin is now ready to launch the second of his NFT projects and believes it is going to be a huge thing for the music industry.

He said it felt like "a whole new avenue that you can really just put out whatever you want, and that's kind of how music should be but it really isn't."

He added: "The fact that smaller artists can have ownership over their music and literally just make what they want and then let the people decide.

"It seemed like such a great, direct way of doing it. So that got me really, really excited and then seeing what 3lau's been doing... and just thinking 'we need to be a part of this. We need to make this a bigger deal, and we need everyone to do this.' I think it can completely revolutionise the music industry."

His latest collection is only available to those who already have several NFTs and led to one of his faithful followers asking if he was intending on writing any more hits for everyone to enjoy this year.

The follower sent Calvin a direct message which he shared on his social media.

It said: Hey man don't mean to intrude but can you make another hit this summer. Things just haven't been the same since you ghosted. I figured you could maybe make things right again."
