Callum Fleming: An apology

On 26th July 2022, we published a story on our website and Facebook feed about a three-year ban imposed on a Manchester United fan, Callum Fleming, 24, for making offensive gestures towards Liverpool fans at Anfield in April, shortly after the 33rd anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. In error, the article included photographs of a different Callum Fleming, of Whitehaven, Cumbria, who has no connection with the case and is not the individual who was given a banning order. We apologise to Mr Fleming for the error and are happy to correct the record.
