Call of Duty's hugely popular Zombies mode has changed a lot over the recent releases in the series, and not everyone is a fan of those changes.
With additions like armor, the ability to equip all Perk-a-Colas, fully equipped weapon loadouts, and being able to end the round by exfiltrating in a chopper, it's become a bit of a departure from the classic experience that players came to know and love in games like World at War and the early Black Ops games.

But according to one prolific leaker, classic Zombies fans will have a lot to sink their teeth into in Black Ops 7's variant of the mode, and they won't have to wait for a seasonal release or content drop to play the way they like.
The news comes from noted CoD leaker Hope, who has leaked several prominent stories in the franchise over many years. According to Hope, BO7 will launch with a Zombies mode called "Cursed" that is much more akin to the classic round-based experience than the entries in games like Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare III, or Black Ops Cold War.
Hope says that Cursed will have its own separate wallbuy weapons, Mystery Box selection, and allowed weapon list from the standard Zombies mode that will come with the first map at launch, Ashes of the Damned.
The leaker also reported that Cursed will have no minimap, a limit of four Perk-a-Colas, no exfil, no armor, the classic points-based system for purchasing items and unlocking doors, and you will start with nothing but a pistol. That's about as close to the OG Zombies experience that we've had in a while.
Personally, I enjoy both kinds of Zombies experiences, so the fact that both may be available to play in BO7 when it drops on Nov. 14 can only be considered a positive for the Zombies community.
