Police are urging the public to call 999 and not to approach a wanted man with links to Bristol.
Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal to track down a 32-year-old David Dowler who is wanted on recall to prison.
Dowler could be in the Yate, Chipping Sodbury or Downend areas of Bristol, police say.
He is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall, of proportionate build, with a bald/shaven head.

He also has missing teeth and is heavily tattooed on his hands and arms.
Avon and Somerset Police have released an image to the public in an attempt to find him.

Police said in a statement: "If anyone sees him, they are asked not to approach him but instead to call 999 with the reference number 5221231423.
"Alternatively, you can ring 101 with any other information."
