California's fire season has evolved into a year-round threat, as stated by the state's governor during a recent news conference. The governor emphasized that what used to be a defined fire season has now become a continuous battle against wildfires, with incidents occurring in November, December, and even January.
One of the latest fires, the Palisades Fire, has already engulfed over 1,200 acres, according to the fire department. Governor Newsom urged residents to remain vigilant and follow evacuation orders, emphasizing that the state is still facing significant risks.

Looking ahead, the governor expressed concerns about upcoming windy weather conditions that could further exacerbate the situation. He cautioned that the fire's size and intensity may continue to increase in the coming hours and days, underscoring the need for ongoing preparedness and response efforts.
