Caitlyn Jenner set for I'm A Celebrity and a reported fee of £500,000

If rumours are to be believed Caitlyn Jenner is going to appear on the new series of I'm A Celebrity for a huge fee.

It's hard to believe that it's been 17 years since I'm A Celebrity first hit our screens, with Tony Blackburn the ITV show's first ever winner.

Since then the likes of Kerry Katona, Dougie Poynter, Christopher Biggins, Vicky Pattison and Scarlett Moffatt have all triumphed in the jungle and before long, we'll know who'll be following in their footsteps this year.

While there have been a few teasers so far involving Geordie hosts Ant & Dec, nothing has been confirmed as to who is heading Down Under for the new series.

But that hasn't stopped speculation on this year's from mounting.

And following on from reports linking Andrew Whyment and Jacqueline Jossa with the jungle, Caitlyn Jenner has now been put into the I'm A Celebrity frame.

A source told  The Sun  that the 70-year-old former Olympic champion turned reality star will jet Down Under later this month for the ITV series for an absolutely huge £500,000 fee.

The source told the paper "TV think she is one of their best ever signings. It's a real bolt from the blue. They've asked her every year for a long time, but she finally felt the time was right."
