Caitlyn Jenner’s longtime manager and close friend, Sophia Hutchins has died after an all-terrain vehicle crash near Malibu at the age of 29.
The crash happened on Wednesday when Ms Hutchins’ vehicle collided with a moving car on a winding stretch of road along the Pacific Coast.
Ms Hutchins’ ATV was reportedly sent over the edge of the road due to the impact, causing it to plunge approximately 350 feet into a steep ravine.
Emergency services arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, Ms Hutchins was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two individuals inside the car were unharmed, officials said.
It remains unclear if Jenner, 75, was at home at the time of the crash or witnessed the incident.

Ms Hutchins, who graduated from Pepperdine University in 2018 with a degree in economics and finance, is also a transgender woman and had recently begun transitioning when she met Jenner.
The two women are thought to have met a few years ago through their shared hairdresser.
In 2017, Ms Hutchins moved into Jenner’s $3.5 million Malibu home and took over managing Jenner’s career.

Rumours circulated that Jenner and Ms Hutchins were romantically involved, but they reiterated their relationship was a close friendship and business partnership.
Speaking to the New York Times in 2019, Ms Hutchins confirmed: “We were never romantically involved.”
When asked about dispelling the rumours, she added: “I don’t feel a need to address my sex life, quite frankly, unless I want to.”

Ms Hutchins told the newspaper that she was on “good terms” with all the Kardashian family, but was closest to Kris, Kim, Kylie and Kendall.
She regularly appeared on Jenner’s docuseries I Am Cait — a spin-off of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that chronicled Ms Jenner’s gender transition.
Ms Hutchins was also engaged in politics and was an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
In a photo on her Instagram last year she posed in front of an American flag with President Trump and captioned the photo: “The energy, passion, and commitment for our movement to Save America has never been greater! We will never give up.”
