I'm A Celeb 's Caitlyn Jenner confessed the Kardashian clan were confused about why she wanted to take part.
The TV star, 70, is the parent to ten children, including Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and part of the most famous showbiz family in the world.
So it's no wonder the outspoken Kardashians had plenty to say on the matter.
The famous family voiced their confusion over why Caitlyn wanted to take part in the UK version of the reality series.
But that hasn't deterred Caitlyn.
Instead, the former athlete just shrugged off the comments and laughed.
The sporting legend professed she needed a "break" from her lavish lifestyle as she prepares for her jungle stint.
And besides, the competitive star acknowledged she likes a challenge.
She said: “I said, you know what, I need a break, I like challenges.”
Aside from talking about her family, Caitlyn didn't want to get bogged down with relationship labels.
The parent said she had "lots of friends" when quizzed over her romantic status.
Rumours have been circulating she is romancing Sophia Hutchins who is also a transgender woman.
However, both women have insisted they don't have a romantic relationship and see themselves as business partners.
