Cadbury launches three new Dairy Milk bars - but only one will stay on sale

Already torn between fruit and nut, Oreo or just good old caramel, Dairy Milk has now added even more choice to the mix, with the launch of three new Dairy Milk bars.

Choca-latte, Simply the Zest and Raspberry Shortcake flavours will all be joining the rest of the collection on shelves - but only one of the bars will be made permanently available.

All three new flavours were created by chocolate fans as part of Cadbury 's inventor competition, with consumers being asked to vote for their favourite new chocolate bar out of the trio, to decide which one stays forever.

The flavours are very different to Dairy Milk's usual line-up (PA)

Each of the competition's entrants had to make a new flavour of up to three ingredients come up with up to three ingredients, a name and explain what had inspired their creation.

The three 122.5g limited edition bars are on sale from June 1st and will set you back £1.49 a pop, although shops can set their own prices.

You can also pick them up online from Cadburygiftsdirect.co.uk and vote for your favourite bar on Cadburyinventor.com from June 3rd, with the polls closing on July 29th. The winner will be announced in September.

So who made the new bars and what do they taste of?

The three chocolate bars were each created by members of the public across the UK.

Chocoa-latte bar

A blend of coffee cream and vanilla sandwiches between Dairy Milk chocolate.

Created by Callum, 17, from Ireland whose choices were inspired by his love of coffee. So much so that he even dreams of setting up his own coffee business one day.

Raspberry Shortcake

We're desperate to try the raspberry shortcake (PA)

Mixing white chocolate with raspberries and shortcake, surrounded by Dairy Milk.

Created by 44-year-old teacher Melanie from Manchester, who loves cooking and makes lots of desserts and puddings.

Simply the Zest bar

Orange flavoured chocolate blended with caramel and biscuit, alongside Dairy Milk Chocolate.

Created by Neelam, 25, from Leeds, purely because she's a huge fan of the chocolate orange flavour.
