Cadbury has revealed that it has made “the difficult decision" to discontinue its Dairy Milk Fruitier and Nuttier Trail Mix range.
The packets of mixed fruit and nuts coated in classic Cadbury chocolate are an on-the-go treat, well-suited to fans of the Fruit and Nut chocolate bars.
However, the range is soon to be no more, after just launching semi-recently in 2023.
A Mondelēz International – the parent company of Cadbury – spokesperson explained in a statement: "In 2023, we launched Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruitier and Nuttier Trail Mix, before expanding the range in 2024 to include Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruitier and Nuttier Bars.

"We worked incredibly hard to ensure that these better-for-you products retained the indulgence and great taste that consumers expect from Cadbury, and whilst the initial response from consumers was positive, sales and availability have significantly dropped.
"As a result, we have taken the difficult decision to withdraw the range from the market, news we know will disappoint some consumers.”
This wouldn’t be the first Cadbury product to be removed from shelves due to low demand, with recent casualties including Peanut Caramel Crisp chocolate bar in 2023, Dairy Milk Egg 'n' Spoons in 2023, and Mini Eggs chocolate cartons and Dairy Milk Orange chocolate bar, both retired in 2024.

"We remain fully committed to delivering in the wellbeing space by bringing forward an increased range of better-for-you products, alongside investment in reformulation, portion control and education,” continued the spokesperson. "This includes promoting and investing in Cadbury Delights, our delicious range of chocolate containing fewer than 100 calories per bar."
In brighter news, 2025 has seen some new additions, such as the Dairy Milk Lotus Biscoff chocolate bar, the Twirl White Dipped chocolate bar, and the Bournville Salted Caramel and Chopped Hazelnut chocolate bars.
These collaborative bars combine flavours from different ranges in one ready-to-eat bar.
With the Christmas season around the corner, there are also changes in store for Cadbury Heroes, with the Chocolate Eclair getting swapped out for a Flake.
