Cabin crew jobs with Emirates up for grabs as Nottingham recruitment day announced

Have you ever thought of living in Dubai, working in the skies, visiting beautiful countries and getting a handsome pay package?

Well, you could soon be in luck and donning an Emirates' uniform after the airline announced it is looking to fill a number of vacancies for cabin crew staff.

The Dubai-based airline is holding a cabin crew recruitment open day at 9am on Friday, April 12, at the Hilton Hotel, Milton Street, Nottingham city centre.

Cabin crew are offered an employment package, which includes benefits such as a tax-free income, free shared accommodation in Dubai, free transport to and from work, medical and dental cover as well as exclusive discounts on shoppings and leisure activities in Dubai.

Average total pay for working as a cabin crew member with the airline is £2,040 a month (9,770 AED), based on working in economy class.

Why does Nottingham's great potential remain untapped?

Applicants have to be at least 21-years-old at the time of joining and have an arm reach of 212cm when standing on tiptoes.

Richard Jewsbury, Divisional Vice President UK for Emirates said: “Our cabin crew are open-minded, helpful, friendly and service-oriented and that’s what we need from candidates in order to deliver Emirates’ award-winning onboard experience to customers.

"This open day is a great opportunity for people to get their career off to a flying start. Applicants just need to drop in to the open day with an up-to-date CV in English and a recent photograph.

“Candidates will need to come prepared to spend the full day at the venue if required. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of timings for further assessments and interviews.

“It is an exciting time for us as Emirates continues to grow and we encourage interested applicants to attend and meet some of our cabin crew recruitment team who will be happy to answer any questions about the role and life in Dubai.”

Emirates currently flies to 158 destinations across six continents operating a fleet of 269 aircraft.

The airline is the largest global operator of the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A380 aircraft.

Although not mandatory, candidates are encouraged to complete an online application on the Emirates Group careers website before attending the open day.
