Burger King launches cheeseburger - with no meat and 20 slices of cheese

Burger King has divided opinion after launching a cheeseburger with no meat and 20 slices of American cheese. However, before cheese lovers go rushing to their nearest fast food restaurant in Nottingham - hold fire.

The burger is only available in Thailand, where they're calling it 'the Real Cheeseburger'. Unveiling the latest offering on the Burger King Thailand Facebook page the post said: 'This is no joke. This is for real.'

The mega cheese feast is priced 109 Thai baht (£2.50), but customers can pay to add even more cheese. The burger has made headlines around the world, from America to Australia.

According to US news outlet CNN, a shift manager was overheard saying its Bangkok store had to halt delivery orders so they could save enough Real Cheeseburgers to serve to diners in-store. But some have labelled it gross.

One customer said it was an insane amount of cheese and could only finish half of it, while one woman tweeted: "Is Burger King ok?" For now, burgers fans in Nottingham will have to make do with a classic cheeseburger.
