Burger King launch chicken burger to rival McDonalds’ McCrispy

This week sees two new chicken burgers land on fast food menus, with Burger King releasing a brand new burger to rival the McDonald’s McCrispy. And there’s a way you can get a freebie from Burger King and try it ahead of it’s launch tomorrow (Tuesday, October 18).

Burger King has announced it’s bringing a southern-style burger to the menu in the form of the Memphis Crispy Chicken Burger, and those who download the Burger King app can try it today ahead of the full launch.

The Memphis Crispy Chicken burger features a chicken breast, sandwiched between crispy bacon slices, melted American cheese, three golden onion rings, creamy mayo and Burger King’s signature smoky BBQ sauce, all served in a toasted brioche bun.

The burger comes in at £9.49 - but via the Burger King app, you can get them on buy-one-get-one free today only. That’s dinner sorted, then.

All food lovers will have to do is download the Burger King app via Google Play here or App Store here , and find the offer under their rewards section to claim the free burger. Customers can choose from the new Memphis Crispy Chicken burger or the returning Memphis King Beef burger - also worth £9.49.

The Memphis King beef burger will be making a triumphant return to Burger King menus nationwide, complete with flame-grilled beef, three crispy onion rings, bacon slices, two layers of melted American cheese slices, a swirl of mayo and a dollop of tangy BBQ sauce in a lightly toasted soft sesame seed bun.

The app offer means even the most indecisive of you won’t have to choose between chicken or beef, and can get one of each for the price of one - but you’ll have to be quick because the deal ends tonight.
