It has been the star of countless memes and GIFs over the past few months and Baby Yoda fever could be about to hit the UK in an even bigger way.
And that's because leading toy retailer Build-A-Bear is all set to launch a Baby Yoda stuffed toy. Yes, we kid you not, you could soon be able to rock up to your nearest Build-A-Bear and leave with the character from popular Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
The Mirror reports that Build-A-Bear recently announced the news during a presentation in Orlando, Florida, and left social media in a frenzy.
One person said: "@buildabear is it true!? Is The Child coming soon? #babyyoda." While another wrote: "Never thought I'd camp outside of @buildabear but here we are."
For those who don't know, Baby Yoda is the young version of Yoda from the original Star Wars movies. It has been confirmed that Build-a-Bear's Baby Yoda toy is likely to arrive in UK stores in the coming months with its launch sure to prompt huge queues outside stores all over the country.
Build-A-Bear is of course no stranger to queues of expectant customers. Two years ago shoppers queued for hours outside their nearest branch when the company launched its Pay Your Age Day promotion. The offer allowed people to grab a customised teddy bear and pay the price of their - or their child's - age.
