BTS V's New Digital Single 'FRI(END)S' Dominates Itunes Charts Worldwide

V's solo project 'FRI(END)S' gained global popularity within 24 hours of release.

Korean pop icon BTS member V is set to unveil a live performance video in collaboration with French luxury brand Cartier in support of his latest digital single, 'FRI(END)S.' The song, released on Friday at 1 p.m. Korean time, marks V's first solo project since his debut solo album, 'Layover,' released in September. Described as a pop soul love song, 'FRI(END)S' quickly gained popularity, reaching the top spot on the iTunes Top Song charts in 87 countries and territories within 24 hours of its release.

V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has been a brand ambassador for Cartier since July last year, representing the luxury brand in various capacities. The original music video for 'FRI(END)S' has already garnered 12.7 million views since its release on Friday.
