Kim Tae-hyung, better known as V from BTS, sent fans into overdrive after giving them a quiet but powerful glimpse into what he has been working on in the studio. Over the weekend the 29-year-old singer and songwriter shared a photodump on social media that included several muted clips filmed inside a recording room. Despite the absence of sound the short videos immediately sparked a frenzy as fans tried to guess what was happening behind the scenes.
The clips offered no audio but that did not matter to the ARMY who quickly filled comment sections with excitement and theories. One fan wrote, “All the video clips with no sound are such a tease! I cannot wait to hear what they’ve been cooking.”

Another chimed in with, “They’re cooking so hard on this album — I just know it’s going to be amazing!” For many, just seeing the group at work was enough to stir anticipation. As one fan noted, “The studio session footage is such a tease, but what makes me happiest is the genuine joy they always seem to have while making music.”

The photodump included more than just studio footage. V also shared a candid photo of himself alongside fellow BTS members J Hope and RM, instantly reassuring fans that the band is still creating together. Another image showed him with R&B songwriter Prince Charlez who has penned tracks for heavyweights such as Usher, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna.
That snapshot in particular caught attention, with many speculating on whether Charlez might be contributing to either BTS’s next group project or V’s own solo material.
Officially BTS already has a group album in the works. Production reportedly began in July 2025 with a release date planned for spring 2026. Still, fans cannot shake the feeling that something else may be brewing on the side. Many suspect V could be preparing a second solo record. His first, Layover, came out on September 8, 2023, and included the popular single Slow Dancing.
Given the two-year gap and his recent military discharge in June, the timing has only fueled speculation that another solo era might be on the horizon. Online communities have even given the potential project a nickname KTH2 though nothing has been confirmed.
What stood out most from the photodump was not only the curiosity it generated but the reminder of how closely BTS fans follow every move the group makes. Even silent clips with no context can send millions into a guessing game, searching for clues about the music to come.
For V, who has always enjoyed balancing his solo artistry with group projects, the teasers struck the perfect balance of mystery and promise. Whether these sessions point to the new BTS group album or an unexpected solo comeback, fans are already locked in and waiting. If history is any indication the music will be worth the suspense.
