Brutal Emmerdale 'kidnap plot set to tear village apart' as Malone's revenge plan unfolds

Villainous and corrupt DI Malone's revenge plan against the Emmerdale village could escalate, with devastating consequences for some.

One of the ITV soap's stars has hinted that Malone could be prepared to kidnap a child in order to get what he wants.

Over the last month, viewers have watched as Malone (Mark Womack) has become entangled in an affair with vicar Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) while she's engaged to Will Taylor.

However, their affair was rumbled by Cain, who is convinced that Malone is to blame for running over his estranged wife Moira.

But as other people are caught in the crossfire, could Malone resort to kidnapping a child?

Earlier this year, actor Dean Andrews, who plays Will, has suggested that Malone will go to extremes to ensure he gets his own way - including his romance with Harriet.

Dean teased: "I just think [Will] knows that Malone will do anything to get his own way, including attacking physically and going after families and daughters and grandchildren.

“He’s always got that sinister thing in the back of his mind…”

With Lucas back with Will's daughter Dawn, could he do something to jeopardise having her son back? And could this result in Malone kidnapping Lucas?

This week, Cain is sick with worry about Moira and refuses to leave her side at the hospital.

He later speaks to the nurse about Moira's condition and is worried that he will lose her.

Will Moira be ok?

*Emmerdale airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV
