Vicar Harriet Finch's affair with DI Malone will finally be exposed on Emmerdale - and leads to a brutal betrayal.
Next week on the ITV soap, Harriet is ambushed by Malone when she heads off to perform a funeral.
The dodgy detective is desperate to steal Harriet away from her fiancée Will but Harriet is not swayed.
Back at home the next day, Harriet comes up with an excuse to get Will and Dawn to leave.
However, the ex-addict soon ends up discovering that Harriet is having an affair with Malone and is left utterly devastated.
Dawn goes on to threaten Harriet that she will tell her dad about the affair unless Harriet does so first.
The vicar is left very shaken when she realises that Dawn is dead serious.
Dawn later turns up at the police station and tells PC Swirling that she wants to launch a complaint against a senior police officer.
How will Harriet react when she discovers what Dawn has done?
And how will Malone retaliate after hearing about the complaint?
