Bruce Willis’ daughter slammed for posting father’s ‘vulnerable’ pictures, retaliates that she made a ‘judgment’ call

Tallulah Willis faced criticism from fans after sharing photos of her father, Bruce Willis, on social media. The 31-year-old posted pictures showing her spending time with the actor, who has been battling frontotemporal dementia for over two years. Some followers questioned whether it was right to share such personal moments with the public.

According to Page Six, one critic wrote on social media that Tallulah should not expose her dad to the public because he is vulnerable. The comment also stated that some things should be kept private and suggested that Bruce Willis had not given permission for the photos to be posted. This sparked a debate among fans about whether family members should share intimate moments of loved ones dealing with health issues.

Tallulah responded directly to the criticism, saying she heard the concerns but defended her choice. She explained that as a family, they use their discretion when posting photos. Today was a great day filled with smiles. I made the judgment call to show that to the world, because I know what he means to everyone,” she wrote in response to the negative comments.

The family receives support from many fans who appreciate the updates

Many other fans rushed to support Tallulah’s decision to share the photos. One follower thanked her for being generous in letting people see these moments, noting how much fans love Bruce Willis, too. Another fan, who identified as a father, said the hug Tallulah gave her dad in the photos was priceless and showed clear affection between them.

A third supporter defended Tallulah’s choice by saying she was showing love for her father regardless of his medical condition. They praised the Willis family for bringing greater awareness and education about frontotemporal dementia to the public, as Demi Moore continues to find ‘great beauty’ in Bruce’s difficult dementia battle. The supporter encouraged Tallulah to follow her heart in making decisions and said it was nobody else’s business to judge.

The photos were posted on Instagram on Sunday and showed Tallulah at a family gathering she called “Sunday funday at Grams.” Among the images was one of her hugging her famous father and another showing her holding his hand while he sat in a chair and she sat on the floor nearby. Bruce Willis, who is 70 years old, retired from acting in 2022 after his aphasia diagnosis and was later diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023. He shares three daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore and two younger daughters with his current wife Emma Heming. The entire blended family has remained close and often spends special occasions together despite the challenges they face with Bruce’s health condition.
