Bruce Allen is adamant that the Redskins will not trade Trent Williams

Washington Redskins team president Bruce Allen seems confident that left tackle Trent Williams — who is currently holding out from the team — will come back and play for the Redskins this season.

In an interview with NBC 4 ahead of Thursday’s preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, Allen commented on the Williams situation when asked if he believes that Williams will play with another team this season.

“No. It will be with us,” said Allen.

The Williams holdout has lasted for the entire summer now, and there has been little information from either camp during that time. A few rumors have been raised that the Redskins would trade Williams, but they usually get shot down in an instant. Williams and his camp have stayed silent through the process.

We will don’t know if and when Williams will come back to the team, but the Redskins sure seem confident that he will be returning at some point.
