Broxtowe Borough Council will hold local elections on Thursday, May 2.
Reporter Matthew Bunn will be at the count in Beeston from when ballots close at 10pm until the result is called in the early hours of Friday.

We will update this article when the results of the election are announced, along with reaction from those who are at the count.
The Conservatives currently hold a healthy majority on the council with 27 seats. Labour holds 11, the Liberal Democrats four and two are held by independents.
Despite holding a majority, the area has become a big target for Labour in recent years, with former Tory MP Anna Soubry holding a majority of just 868 - the 16th smallest in the country.
In addition to the three main parties, the Greens will be fielding candidates alongside the Ashfield Independents, who say their area has become the "forgotten part of Broxtowe".
A small part of the Broxtowe borough area is in the Ashfield parliamentary constituency.

Check back on Friday morning for the full results and reaction.
