Browns sign free agent OL Bryan Witzmann

Bryan Witzmann is the newest member of the Cleveland Browns. The team signed the free agent offensive lineman on Friday.

The Browns announced this move themselves.

Witzmann played for the Chicago Bears in 2018, starting several games at right guard as an injury replacement. He spent the 2016-17 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, tying him to Browns GM John Dorsey.

The 28-year-old lineman was an undrafted free agent from South Dakota State who entered the league with the Houston Texans back in 2014. He has started games at both right and left guard after being a tackle in college. Witzmann also saw some action at tackle for the Chiefs.

He joins Kendall Lamm as veteran free agents competing for depth along the offensive line.
