Browns left tackle Joe Thomas' consecutive snap streak ends with injury in third quarter vs. Titans

The amazing consecutive snap streak of Browns 10-time Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Thomas ended Sunday when he suffered a left triceps injury with 5:35 remaining in the third quarter against the Tennessee Titans.

Thomas played the first 10,363 snaps of his 11-year NFL career. The Browns believe it's the longest streak in NFL history.

Spencer Drango replaced Thomas, the third overall pick in the 2007 draft.

Thomas jogged to the locker room with medical personnel with 4:25 left in the third quarter. Shortly thereafter, the Browns announced Thomas, 32, would not return to the game.
