Browns GM jokes about trading for Steelers WR Antonio Brown

They might not have contacted the Pittsburgh Steelers but Cleveland Browns’ general manager John Dorsey does have his cell phone ready. Dorsey was asked on Thursday if the Browns had contacted the Steelers about a trade for Antonio Brown and while it seems he hadn’t, he was willing to talk.

Dorsey and the rest of the AFC are out of luck. The Steelers’ front office is too smart to deal Brown within the conference, especially within the division. Cleveland is an up and coming team in the AFC North and there aren’t enough first-round picks to get Pittsburgh to put him in a spot to play Brown twice a year.

Multiple teams have reached out to the Steelers but Pittsburgh is playing it close to the vest for the time being. If some team offers the Steelers a good enough deal, one that benefits the Steelers first and foremost, Brown will be traded.
