This A.J. Green is a cornerback from Oklahoma State who went undrafted in the 2020 draft. Green signed with the Browns after the draft for an unprecedented amount of guaranteed money in his UDFA contract. Per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Browns gave Green a $145,000 guarantee.

That’s the highest figure ever reported for an undrafted player fresh after the draft. The figures are unofficial until the deal is actually signed.

Green will get a chance to guard his namesake, the Pro Bowl wide receiver for the rival Cincinnati Bengals.
