Browns claim Rams wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge off waivers

The Cleveland Browns are not done tweaking their 53-man roster, at least not yet. With that being said, even with a receiver room featuring Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, and Rashard Higgins, the Browns continue to add depth to their already talented position group.

In addition to trading for former Tennessee Titans third-round pick Taywan Taylor, the Orange and Brown added former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, according to ESPN’s Lindsey Thiry.

Hodge, a former undrafted receiver from Prairie View A&M, was a casualty of a crowded Rams receiver room that features Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp. In the preseason, the former first-team All-SWAC receiver caught 11 passes for 178 yards.

As Hodge factors to be a special teams addition, out of the 157 snaps played this preseason, only 16 came on special teams.
