Brooklyn Beckham was reportedly mocked by the crowd during the Ryder Cup celebrity golf match.
The budding chef - who recently addressed the feud with his famous family for the first time - was playing for the Europe team alongside former basketball player Toni Kukoč at the event in New York on Wednesday.
The duo competed against USA team, which was made up of former football starc Eli Manning and comedian Colin Jost, during the first round of the celebrity playoffs.
Beckham repeatedly hit the ball out of bounds and kept getting it stuck in the bunkers throughout the 11-hole game, the Daily Mail reported.
Fans reportedly taunted the 26-year-old for his “lack of talent” and questioned if he was a “celebrity”, claiming he was only known as “David Beckham’s son”.
Discussing the fan reaction after the match, Beckham told the press: “I feel like they didn't like me at all - but it was amazing.”

The former photographer added: “They gave me a bit of rubbish but I kind of expected it - being in New York, going against Eli... they were just laughing.
“But it is what it is, I was having fun out there. I did the best I could. It was honestly just really fun.”
A source told the Daily Mail: “Beckham was not in a good mood the entire game, it seemed like.
“He had his head down whenever he walked by fans who were shouting for either Eli or Colin. It was obvious that he had very few fans of his own.”

The insider claimed he only received support from his caddy who would “pat him on the back as if he was telling him it was OK”.
A source close to Beckham told The Standard the comments from the crowd were playful and “all in good fun”.
“It was mostly an American crowd, so they made a point to cheer for the Americans rather than the opposing team,” they said.
“It was all in good fun and shouldn’t be taken as anything more than that.”
The Standard has contacted Beckham’s representative for comment.
During his post-match interview, Beckham also publicly addressed the long-running rift with his parents Victoria and David Beckham.
The entrepreneur and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, have faced rumours of a rift with his famous family for months, having snubbed numerous major family events and social media milestones this year.

Beckham skipped David’s 50th birthday and failed to attend any of his celebrations and, earlier this month, he ignored his brother Romeo’s 23rd birthday.
The eldest Beckham child, who lives in Los Angeles with Peltz, also failed to invite any of his family to their vow renewal in New York City last month.
He made pointed comments about being “happy” and having a “supportive wife” when asked how he copes with the gossip about his family and private life.
“There's always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife,” he said.
Beckham added that the couple just “do their own thing” together and he “never” worries about what people think of his personal life.
