Brooklyn Beckham 'finds refuge with Nicola Peltz's family amid Beckham rift' as he continues LA party streak

Brooklyn Beckham has been keeping a low profile from his famous family, continuing to socialise in Los Angeles with wife Nicola Peltz – and insiders say he’s found a “haven” with her billionaire parents, Claudia and Nelson Peltz.

The 26-year-old and Nicola, 30, stepped out at Airbnb’s Summer Release event on Tuesday, cuddling up in matching black looks and promoting his Cloud 23 hot sauce collaboration with the brand.

But while the couple posted promotional snaps to Instagram, fans were more focused on their ongoing absence from the Beckham fold.

"Please make up with your Beckham family. Life is too short, believe me!" one follower commented under Nicola’s post, while another added: “He looks sad”.

Brooklyn and Nicola’s absence from David Beckham’s lavish 50th birthday celebrations in London earlier this month has added fuel to reports of a family rift.

According to The Sun, tensions between Brooklyn and his parents David and Victoria have left him turning to Nicola’s family for support, finding what one insider described as a “sanctuary”.

“Claudia is like a second mother to him,” the source said. “Although they are billionaires, Nicola and her brothers had more of a ‘normal’ upbringing because they didn’t have the media intrusion, which Brooklyn has always found so hard.

“He sees them as a kind of sanctuary where he can hide away if he wants to, but that is almost impossible in the Beckham family – they always seem to be on show. There is less pressure on him in a way.”

The couple's decision to skip David’s birthday dinner at Core restaurant in Notting Hill came despite the footballer’s reported efforts to reconcile.

David, 50, is said to be “desperate to make amends with Brooklyn” as he fears history could repeat itself, referencing his own fallout with his father Ted in 2005.

Victoria, 51, is also believed to be feeling the strain. Last week a source claimed she was facing “her worst nightmare” as tensions continue.

Despite the reported rift, David included Brooklyn in a Mother’s Day tribute on Instagram, calling Victoria “the best mommy”. The post also featured Harper, 13, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20.

Though Brooklyn famously has a “Mama’s boy” tattoo dedicated to Victoria on his chest and once called her the “best mum in the world”, sources say his bond with Nicola’s family has grown stronger in recent months.

Meanwhile, the couple are showing no signs of slowing down their LA party circuit.

At the weekend, they were spotted rubbing shoulders with Gerard Butler and Lewis Tan at a Hollywood bash hosted by Oliver Trevena – another indication that Brooklyn is leaning further into his new stateside circle.
