Brooklyn Beckham has broken his social media silence after skipping his father David’s 50th birthday party amid rumours of a family feud.
David Beckham threw a lavish, star-studded dinner and drinks at the three Michelin-star restaurant Core in Kensington, London, on Saturday night after early birthday celebrations in Paris and the Cotswolds earlier this week.
Victoria Beckham and her and David’s children Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, were all at the milestone bash, as well as the pre-birthday festivities.
However, Brooklyn, 26, and his actress wife Nicola Peltz, 30, failed to appear at any of the birthday events or wish David a happy birthday on social media.
The couple - who tied the knot in 2022 - spent several days in London earlier this week but are believed to have flown back to the US on Saturday, just hours before David’s party.
Amid increasing speculation about a rift in the famous family, Brooklyn ignored the gossip and instead shared a video on his Instagram Story promoting his hot sauce brand, Cloud 23.
The budding chef re-posted a clip of him talking about how he got the idea to create the condiment company.
In it, he explained: “Three years ago I was kind of figuring out what I wanted to do.
“One night, my wife and I were having a bottle of wine in our kitchen really late at night and my wife was like, ‘You love hot sauce, you love design, why don't you make a hot sauce?’
The eldest Beckham child revealed he then ordered some ingredients, made a sweet jalapeno sauce and recalled thinking, “I kind of want to try to do something with this,” before building a team and finding a CEO.
Brooklyn has not addressed the rumours that he and his wife have been clashing with the rest of the Beckham clan.
Tensions reportedly flared after Brooklyn and Romeo stopped speaking, following Romeo's relationship with Kim Turnbull - who previously dated Brooklyn's friend Rocco Ritchie.
Brooklyn is said to be suspicious of Kim’s reasons for dating Romeo, with TMZ claiming Brooklyn and Nicola now refuse to attend any family event where Kim is present.
Brooklyn raised eyebrows when he failed to attend Victoria’s 51st birthday last month.
Similarly, neither David nor Victoria posted congratulations online as Brooklyn and Nicola marked their third wedding anniversary.
But David extended an olive branch to Brooklyn by sharing a heartfelt message alongside photos from his 50th birthday trip to the Scottish Highlands with other sons Romeo and Cruz.
