Brooke Vincent caused a commotion when she recently posted a picture of herself in fitted jeans and a cropped top months after having her first child, and she's now spoken out about that Instagram post on Loose Women.
The show shared Brooke's photo of herself in a red midriff-revealing top as she headed out on her first date with her partner Kean Bryan after welcoming Mexx.
The Coronation Street actress, proud mum of baby boy Mexx, was asked by the Loose Women panel if she'd encountered pressure to 'snap back' into shape after giving birth.
The Audenshaw actress said people have commented 'haven't you bounced back?' after she became a first-time mum in October.
"I'm thinking 'no, I'm still breathing in'", said down-to-earth Brooke.
Addressing the photo that sparked a flurry of compliments, Brooke said: "Me and my boyfriend were going out for the first time after having Mexx.
"I thought 'I can just pop back into clothes' and that wasn't the case at all."
"Looking amazing," said one fan about the snap.
"You look unreal!!!!" said another.
And another told her: "Thought you was Kylie Jenner at 1st glance."
Brooke, 28, who plays Sophie Webster in Corrie announced Mexx's birth in October.
Her character left in the back of a taxi to go travelling with the blessing of her girlfriend Paula Cunliffe.
Brooke filmed her final scenes last August before going on maternity leave.
For now she said she's enjoying 'being a mum.'
"The only thing I knew fully that I wanted to be is a mum," she said.
"It's daunting at times but this is my job at the moment and my new routine.
"I'm taking time for me and my family at the moment."
