Broncos to host open tribute to late owner Pat Bowlen at stadium

The Denver Broncos and Bowlen family will host an open-house tribute to celebrate the life of late owner Pat Bowlen at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Tuesday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fans are invited to attend the tribute that will take place in the United Club Level West Lounge.

Lots C and J will be open for parking and entrance to the stadium will be available through Gate 2. The tribute will include pieces of memorabilia from Bowlen’s 35-year ownership, including his famous fur coat.

In lieu of flowers, the Bowlen family asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado (donation website) or the Boys & Girls Clubs of Denver (donation website).

The Bowlen family will have a private funeral in Denver on Monday, June 24. NFL dignitaries and former and current Broncos players and staff will attend.

Bowlen passed away on Thursday evening after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 75 years old.
