Broncos to honor Pat Bowlen and Champ Bailey at halftime of Titans game

The Denver Broncos will honor late owner Pat Bowlen and former cornerback Champ Bailey during halftime of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

Bowlen and Bailey were enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio in August. Hall of Fame President and CEO David Baker will attend Sunday’s game in Denver to present Hall of Fame rings to Bailey and members of Bowlen’s family.

Bailey will address fans in attendance when his name is added to the list of Ring of Fame banners at Empower Field at Mile High. Before the game, Denver will also honor members of the Broncos Top 100 team. The team is encouraging fans to be in their seats by 2:00 p.m. to view pre-game ceremonies.

Denver will also give a nod to Bailey by wearing alternate blue jerseys and white pants against the Titans. That’s the same uniform Bailey wore when he returned an interception 99 yards during a 27-13 win over the New England Patriots in the divisional round of the 2005 AFC playoffs.
