Broncos’ Super Bowl odds just improved

After the Denver Broncos agreed to trade for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, the team’s odds of winning the Super Bowl got worse (dropping from +10,000 to +12,500). It was a curious development and a sign that Las Vegas has little faith in Flacco.

One and a half weeks later, though, the team’s Super Bowl odds have improved. Denver now has +6,500 odds to win Super Bowl LIV, according to Bovada.lv:

This may be a sign that a lot of betters were putting money on the Broncos. If that happened, Bovada probably improved Denver’s odds so they have less money to pay out if the Broncos do win the Super Bowl.

Denver won Super Bowl 50 following the 2015 season, defeating the Carolina Panthers 24-10. The team has missed the playoffs in each of the three seasons since that championship game, though.

Under new head coach Vic Fangio, the Broncos will attempt to get back to the postseason in 2019.
