Broncos roster series: No. 67, OL Christian DiLauro

Broncos Wire’s 90-man offseason roster series continues today with a look at first-year offensive lineman Christian DiLauro, No. 67.

Before the Broncos: DiLauro (6-6, 300 pounds) played college football at Illinois and entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns in 2018. After a brief stint on Cleveland’s practice squad, DiLauro spent two years on the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad. He went on to spend time on the practice squads of the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Tennessee Titans in 2021.

DiLauro dressed for two games with the Titans in 2021 and played four snaps on special teams. He then spent time on the Washington Commanders’ practice squad in 2022 before being waived last October.

Broncos tenure: Denver signed DiLauro to its own practice squad in mid-October last season. He was later promoted to the active roster in December and dressed for three games, playing 11 snaps on special teams. Although he has been in the NFL for five years, DiLauro is considered a “first-year” player because he does not have an accrued season (six games in the same season).

Chance to make the 53-man roster: Christian DiLauro won’t be a favorite to make the active roster this summer. The 28-year-old offensive tackle will likely be competing for a spot on the practice squad at training camp.
