Broncos roster cuts tracker: 20 moves made so far

With NFL preseason now in the rearview mirror, the Denver Broncos (and every other team) will focus on trimming their roster from 90 players down to 53 players this weekend.

Not every transaction will simply be a cut. Denver can also clear roster spots through trades and by placing injured players on reserve. We will be tracking all of the team’s moves right here throughout the weekend.

Players placed on injured reserve

TBD

The Broncos will have until 2 p.m. MT on Saturday, Aug. 31 to submit a 53-man roster. It’s worth noting that the initial 53-man roster won’t be final. Denver will make more moves throughout the season and will probably even make a few moves after other teams make their cuts this weekend.

After putting together an active roster, the Broncos will begin building a 10-man practice squad. NFL teams will be allowed to begin signing practice squad players at 11:00 a.m. MT on Sunday, Sept. 1.
