Broncos considered 6th-worst team in NFL power rankings

After starting the season 0-3, the Denver Broncos are ranked No. 27 in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. Only five teams are considered worse than Denver.

Here is Davis’ commentary with the Broncos’ ranking:

WR Emmanuel Sanders had one of weekend’s best lines, admitting Denver ‘living in a world of suck.’ Broncos definitely not in a world of sack.

Denver is yet to record a single sack this year. The team has now lost seven straight games dating back to last season.

The Broncos are the worst-ranked team in the AFC West, behind the Oakland Raiders (No. 26), Los Angeles Chargers (No. 13) and Kansas City Chiefs (No. 2). Denver has the worst record in the division.

Only the Arizona Cardinals (No. 28), New York Jets (No. 29), Cincinnati Bengals (No. 30), Washington Redskins (No. 31) and Miami Dolphins (No. 32) are ranked lower than the Broncos. The New England Patriots are No. 1.
