British Soap Awards 2022: When is it, how to vote and who is nominated

Soap fans can rejoice as the British Soap Awards are just around the corner. The prestigious ceremony, which celebrates everything in 'soapland', is returning for the first time since 2019. The 2020 and 2021 ceremonies were, naturally, delayed by the Coronavirus pandemic.

This Morning's Phillip Schofield returns to host the event, which sees the likes of EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors come together for an evening of celebration. With over three years worth of storylines to look at, choosing a winner has been especially difficult this time around.

ITV has confirmed a two-hour slot for the ceremony, due to take place live on Saturday, June 11 at 8pm.
