A British man has been accused of forcing a pilot to make an emergency landing after allegedly "punching" a Turkish passenger mid-flight.
The plane was on course for tourist hotspot Antalya from Manchester Airport before unexpectedly landing in Thessaloniki in Greece on Monday following the alleged assault.
A 35-year-old man from the UK is alleged to have punched a 41-year-old passenger from Turkey during the 2,000-mile journey.
It is unclear what instigating incident led to the reported attack shortly before 11pm local time, Greek newspaper Kathimerini reported.
The British man is understood to have been arrested, while the victim was examined by a doctor before he continued onward to Turkey.

The suspect was due to appear before a prosecutor next Tuesday accused of dangerous interference with transportation, bodily harm and disobedience.
He is reportedly expected to pay an estimated €4,570 (£3,959) to cover a potential 15-month sentence.
The man denied punching the fellow traveller on the flight, claiming he pushed him after he felt a "shake" as he tried to recline in his seat.
He is said to have told the court he “didn't do anything violent”, although he admitted to drinking a small quantity of alcohol.
The sentence was suspended pending an appeal and the man was released.
