Britain's Got Talent viewers make same complaint over semi-final result

Britain's Got Talent fans have shared the same grievance with the nail-biting semi-final episodes that have been airing this week.

Wednesday’s show saw two more acts go through to the live grand final, which takes place on Sunday night.

While dance group Ghetto Kids sailed straight through to the next round, the judges were forced to choose between singer Travis George and guitarist Harry Churchill.

Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon saved Travis, but Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell opted to save Harry.

This meant Ant and Dec had to go back to the public vote to see which act would go through – and Travis was told he was saved.

But some fans were less than impressed with the results and took to Twitter to vent their anger.

Viewers have branded the latest series of Britain's Got Talent a 'fix' (ITV)

One tweeted: “That’s 3 nights in a row that the act with least or no talent has won... Total vote fix #BGT #BGT2023.”

Another said: “It’s such a fix. Every year I say I’ll never watch again #BGT.”

A third commented: “Does Simon Cowell stand to make more money if one of his hand-picked invited acts wins rather than a genuine amateur act? #fix.”

“We all know #BGT is a fix – last night’s winner although superb is already a famous dancer and tonight’s a comedian on the club circuit – probably all scouted and booked to appear in the ‘auditions’ #fix #BGT2023,” a fourth wrote.

A fifth added: “#BGT I’ve just noticed how fixed this is. They pay attention to stage props, lighting and effects to the ones they want to go through. f*** the others, they get nothing. And yet they have just as much talent.”

While a sixth fan said: “These #BGT semi finals are a fix. They put 2 or 3 acts in who they want to win with a bunch of no hopers. I bet they already have a list of who’s going to be in the final.”

Ghetto Kids and Travis will join Viggo Venn, Olivia Lynes, Musa Motha and Amy Lou in the final on Sunday.
