Britain's Got Talent's Simon Cowell prompts concern from Ant and Dec as ITV live final 'disrupted'

Simon Cowell sparked concern from his Britain's Got Talent colleagues during Sunday night's final, after an 'issue' live on air stopped him from giving his feedback to one of the acts.

As the ITV show got set to crown another champion, Simon took his seat on the panel, alongside co-stars Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, to cast an eye on each of the remaining hopefuls' final performances. It didn't take long for the judges to come under fire from viewers at home, over the identity of their wildcard for 2023 - 'pants guy' Tonikaku.

His moment in the spotlight didn't arrive until later on in proceedings, as other acts like Ghetto Kids, Olivia Lynes and Amy Lou made their bids to win. Singing sunbed shop receptionist Amy sang Reflection from Disney's Mulan to try and impress the judges, audience at the Hammersmith Apollo and millions of fans at home.

Conscious of it being live TV and, with time ticking on, Ant and Dec instead went to Bruno, before Simon got another chance to speak. He firstly apologised for 'having trouble speaking,' before saying to Amy: "Tell us how you feel right now," with her replying: "I've never felt anything like this in my life. This is the most incredible experience."
