Britain's Got Talent's Ant & Dec forced to apologise moments into semi final show

Britain's Got Talent viewers are used to a mixed bag of performances but many got more than they bargained for on one of the live semi-final shows earlier this week. That moment led to an admission from presenting duo Ant and Dec just minutes into Wednesday night's (May 31) semi final.

After Geordie presenting duo introduced the judges - Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli, they turned to the camera and addressing an apology to viewers at home before the first act took to the stage for the third live semi final, Yorkshire Live reports.

After an initial exchange between the presenters and the judges on the show, Ant and Dec gave an apology to viewers. Ant said: "Sorry if you heard a bit of choice language on the show last night. "There'll be none of that tonight!"

Their comments were likely to be in relation to some swearing from judge Bruno Tonioli which was picked up by his mic on Tuesday night. Some viewers heard his uncensored reaction as he turned to another judge. Viewers on the night were quick to react on from twitter, with one saying: "Bruno just said 'f****** hell Simon, not again'," as a second said: "Did he just say f****** hell???"

It came after an initial exchange between Ant and Dec and the judges which some viewers found a little hard to believe. Dec said to Simon that he 'knows Simon doesn't like to know the lineup' for each semi final ahead of time.

Viewers didn't believe that, given Simon isn't just a judge but his company is involved in the production of the show behind the scenes.

@mr_chambers said: "Dec saying to Cowell ‘we know you don’t like to know who’s on the show before it starts’ - load of bollox, Cowell decided who was going to be on tonight's show before they held any of the auditions ffs!… #BritainsGotTalent"
