Britain's Got Talent's Ant and Dec 'alarmed' backstage as audition goes wrong

Ant and Dec look rather shaken up in a preview for Saturday night's Britain's Got Talent as an audition goes wrong in front of them, with an explosion heard on stage.

Since its launch last month, the new series of the much loved ITV show has pulled in millions of viewers every weekend, who have seen things take a rather chaotic turn of late. Hosts Ant and Dec were happy to admit that they played a trick on new judge Bruno Tonioli, by convincing him that he'd be able to use his Golden Buzzer twice, going against BGT rules that each judge can hit the button once per series.

And, after Bruno, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Ant and Dec themselves all hit their Golden Buzzers for their favourite acts, Bruno threw the new series into chaos by hitting his for a second time during last Sunday's episode for singer Gamal John,, as Simon joked: "We're all going to get fired!"

A teaser clip for this weekend's Britain's Got Talent shows Simon break the rules himself, as he is seen reaching over the judges' desk to hit the Golden Buzzer again and something else that stands out from the video, is presenters Ant and Dec getting a hell of a shock as they watch one audition from the wings.

Decked out in scientist white coats and goggles, the Geordie duo are seen shouting and running away from the stage as an explosion is heard and Bruno asks: "What is going on?!"

Britain's Got Talent continues on ITV at 8pm and, at the time of writing it is still Simon's golden buzzer act, Malakai Bayoh who remains firm favourite to win with the bookies.
