Britain's Got Talent: Monday's full line up as The Witch returns

Britian's Got Talent auditions are now over and the talent show is gearing up for the start of the semi-finals.

As usual, we will see a wide range of acts competing for the substantial cash prize and a place at the Royal Variety Performance, including those lucky enough to earn the coveted golden buzzer earlier this season. At the end of Saturday night's final round of auditions we saw judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon come together to discuss who would make it through to the live shows.

The ITV talent show will be aired live for the first time in two years, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Among those competing will be the Golden Buzzer acts, who received an automatic pass to the semi-finals.

Here is everything you need to know about the semi-finals.

When will a full line up of semi finalists be announced?

In a change from previous series, the semi finalists aren't being announced until the start of the first live show on Monday, May 30 at 8pm. The semi finals will then see the 40 acts - the five Golden Buzzer acts, plus 35 more - split across five live semi-final nights between Monday and Friday before the Grand Final on Sunday, June 5 in a three-hour extravaganza from 7.30pm to 10pm.

That means each semi will contain 8 acts vying for a place in the final, with two winners from each night picked to go into the final.

Who are the golden buzzer acts?

Loren Allred

Amanda Holden became the first judge to press her Golden Buzzer for classical singer Loren Allred. The singer performed a stunning rendition of Never Enough, wowing the judges and viewers at home.

However, her gift of a Golden Buzzer proved to be controversial for some after it was revealed that she appeared on a huge hit from The Greatest Showman, which also stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya.

Axel Blake

Comedian Axel Blake was awarded with Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer after leaving the panel in hysterics with his stand-up routine. Like Loren, Axel was subjected to 'fix' claims after it was revealed that he already had his own show on Amazon Prime.

He later spoke about performing at the O2 during an interview with Kate Garraway and Adil Ray on GMB. He said: "I’ve been doing it for a few years, so I’ve been doing a lot of small gigs around the UK and further places I don’t even know how to get to now. I’ve done some of the big gigs - I’ve done O2 Indigo - that’s a big one.”

Keiichi Iwasaki

Spellbinding magic act Keiichi Iwasaki received a Golden Buzzer from hosts And and Dec for his quirky act. Taking to the stage, he got the presenters involved and stunned the audience when he levitated a ring off Alesha's finger. At the end of the performance and having bagged a full house of yeses, Ant and Dec strutted onto stage to push the Golden Buzzer on the judging panel.

Flintz and T4ylor

Last, but not least, was Alesha Dixon's Golden Buzzer - which happened to go to musical duo Flintz and T4ylor. The 22-year-old and 17-year-old met in person for the first time at the audition after meeting online during lockdown in 2020. They went on to wow the panelists with their blend of rap and piano, reducing Alesha to tears.

Who is in Monday's line-up?

While the full line-up for the week is yet to be revealed, The Mirror reported that these acts are expected to be seen on tonight's show.
