Britain's Got Talent magic trick 'exposed' as viewers debunk Angels Inc's act

Angels Inc certainly impressed the Britain's Got Talent judges with their saucy magic tricks - but viewers were quick to try and debunk them.

Originally a trio of women, they multiplied before the audience's eyes, becoming a group of 15 as they performed a series of magic reveals and dance routines.

Using cage illusions the girls, from the Netherlands, were hidden away in a set of contraptions popping up after being covered with silk sheets.

But on one big reveal viewers spotted what they believed was a shelf, pointing out that the audience wouldn't have been able to see it properly because of the view.

The group started as a trio (Dymond/Thames/Syco/REX)

One claimed: “The girl was on a shelf on the back of the chair. Cloth was put up. She climbed off the shelf. Cloth pulled down. #BGT.”

Another said: “The girl was on a shelf under the back of the triangle, she cannot be seen by the audience due to angle. Put cloth up, she climbs off shelf onto platform #BGT."

A third wrote: “I saw the girls coming though thanks to the camera man haha #bgt.”

While a fourth remarked: “When the #bgt camera angles show precisely how the magic box works.”

The troupe of female dancers and illusionists made dancers miraculously appear on stage during the powerful routine.

Judge David Walliams dubbed Angels Inc as "the Pussycat Dolls of magic" and that it was a performance "for the dads" as they received four yeses from the judges.

“I have to say this is not just for dads, this is for everybody!" exclaimed Alesha.

"Girls will be watching and rooting you on killing it on stage. It makes me feel proud to be a woman. That was a breath of fresh air. I loved it."

“Yes I agree, I loved it. You were a force of good and I loved you," Amanda added.

Giving them four yeses Simon said: "I think that what this show is about is finding a star and I think you have that potential. I really do."

Britain's Got Talent continues on ITV next Saturday
