Britain's Got Talent 2023 winner booed loudly by audience during celebrations with Ant & Dec

Viggo Venn won Britain's Got Talent 2023 - but boos were heard in the audience as he celebrated with Ant & Dec.

Viggo made it to the final two alongside Lillianna, 13, who had impressed the voting public with her amazing gymnastic skills.

But it was the Norwegian comic's night, despite the fact his final performance seemed to go a bit wrong earlier on in the show, and he beat Lillianna in the public vote thanks to his high-vis One More Time routine.

Half naked Japanese comic Tonikaku didn't make it through to the final three, despite earing (pants) again on stage.

Singer Amy Lou was also one who missed out on the final three alongside gymnast duo Duo Odyssey.

Child singer Olivia didn't make the top three, nor did Ugandan dance troupe Ghetto Kids.

Liverpudlian dancer/gymnast, Lilliana Clifton, 13, did go through to the final three but it wasn't to be for her in the end.

Malakai Bayoh didn't make the final three, somewhat controversially as he had been tipped as a potential winner and neither did one legged dancer Musa.

Autistic kid magician Cillian O'Connor also made the final three alongside One More Time comic dancer Viggo Venn.

Cillian O'Connor was announced as the third place finalist.

Out of that final three, it was Viggo who won.

Viggo said: "Not just the heart of Britain but the heart of Simon. Thank you very much for everyone who voted for me."

The crowd then chanted "one more time! one more time!" and Viggo immediately performed again on stage, sliding into Ant and making him fall over right at the end.

But there were clearly audible boos heard from the crowd in the studio as the show finished and Viggo celebrated with Ant & Dec.

@cleggbamber said: "Watching the #BGT final - are the crowd booing the winner? I couldn't work it out if they were booing or cheering 'Viggo Viggo'"

@haydenesc said: "I'm not sure Vicco is the most talented of the bunch this year, but fine, whatever. Thought I heard booing in the audience, but maybe I'm wrong."
