Brit Awards winners as Adele wins three trophies at O2 Arena ceremony

After last year's event was pushed back a few months due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Brit Awards are back in their rightful February home with a whole host of acts hoping to triumph in 2022.

History was made last year when Little Mix became the first female act ever to win British Group and they're back on the shortlist for that accolade again this year with the likes of Coldplay and London Grammar.

Artists with multiple nominations this year included rapper Little Simz, Adele, Sam Fender and Dave, all of whom were also amongst the Brits performers for this year.

Other Brits nominees for 2022 include Ed Sheeran, Griff and Dua Lipa.

The Brit Awards aired live on ITV,with Mo Gilligan taking over from Jack Whitehall as host.

Adele won the first award of the night, getting Song of the Year for Easy on Me, with Olivia then winning the International Song accolade.

And, in a great night for Adele, she also won Artist and Album of the Year.
