Bristol weather: Met Office gives hour-by-hour forecast for Harbour Festival

Showers spread across Bristol this morning but the rest of the weekend is expected to dry and warm, according to forecasters.

Downpours battered the city yesterday (July 19), bringing cooler temperatures and leaving many fearful today (July 20) could be too wet to enjoy Harbour Festival 2019.

But experts are predicting the sun will break through the clouds by 11am, just in time for the first acts to get on stage.

The Bristol forecast

Saturday

The mercury is expected to hover around 20C for the majority of the day, and by 7pm there will be blue skies and glorious sunshine.

Sunday

Sunday will be cloudier but still warm, with highs of around 22C.
